Beyond the Talk: Hiba Qasas on peacebuilding in a fractured world

Hiba, a peace builder, shares her experience at TED and her decision to focus on her own conflict. After 22 years working with the UN, she felt the need to address the Israeli-Palestinian conflict directly. She introduces her approach to peacemaking through self-interest, recognition, and humanity to find common ground. Hiba also discusses the challenges of war and violence in modern conflicts and the importance of reforming international bodies like the UN to better address global peace and security.
